About Focus on Friends
Every year during International Women’s Week, the March Focus on Friends fundraiser features an evening of community and culture which acts as a true celebration of all immigrant women. The dinner includes a ceremony recognizing immigrant women who actively contribute to the wider community through volunteerism. Recipients are selected from local professionals with different professions being honoured each year for their professional accomplishments and their contributions to the community through outstanding volunteerism.
