Jackie has been a valuable board member for our organization for several years. Her leadership was at the helm when we went through a major reorganization. She dealt with the issues in a very compassionate manner, keeping everyone’s interest and wellness in mind. She has always paid particular attention to Health and Wellness. Her idea of using physically active lifestyle as a means for integration of newcomers was taken to Wilfrid Laurier University and they have turned it into a Research project!

Jackie is a phenomenal person who is consistently described as being giving, thoughtful, caring, compassionate and an amazing individual. She is a local Nurse Practitioner and a tireless advocate that serves those in our community who struggle, are underprivileged and are marginalized. Whether it is someone who is dealing with HIV, a person who is experiencing homelessness or a newcomer, she thoroughly absorbs and commits herself to each individual that she meets.
